co2 calculates the carbon footprint of installed KLH® - CLT across the life cycle stages defined in EN 15804. The new version introduces an updated interface and enhanced calculation logic, while remaining fully browser based, with no installation and no account required.
New user interface
The new user interface provides more space for data and guides users efficiently through the input process, whether on a PC, tablet or smartphone.
The dashboard instantly recalculates whenever a value changes, and charts and result tables are linked dynamically. Every input field has a defined value range. Unusual values are highlighted directly within the field instead of blocking the input.
Enhanced calculation logic
- Production switch between the Katsch and Wiesenau production sites, each using the verified EPD of the respective production plant as the data source.
- Multiple end of life scenarios can now be combined as percentage shares of the volume.
- Reuse and recycling are now available as end of life scenarios, with the remaining share allocated to thermal recovery.
Share calculations
The complete set of inputs is stored in the URL. A copied link opens the same calculation with the same results for another user, making it suitable for bookmarking or coordination within project teams.
Report including EPD and DOP
The PDF report can be assembled from individual chapters, ranging from GWP results only, through the tables containing the mandatory environmental impact indicators according to EN 15804, up to the complete report including the Environmental Product Declaration of the selected production site and the Declaration of Performance as an appendix. The report language can be selected independently of the user interface language.
